Arboricultural Consultation Services
AN AIA/TPMP is generally required for cases such as a development or utility upgrades where council assets (trees) or other trees afforded statuary protection are located in proximity to proposed earthworks.
An AIA assesses the current health and metrics of the tree using internationally recognized arboricultural practices and assesses the likely or anticipated impact that proposed works may have on the tree. A TPMP is a framework for managing said works so as to reduce negative outcomes on the tree. The effects of civil works on the root or canopy system of a tree elucidate over time, sometimes several years, so the AIA section of such a report is the most in depth section to analyze specific traits of your tree.
If you are looking at purchasing a property for development, or have recently purchased a property and would like to know your rights and ability to implement works in the proximity of protected or council trees, then a pre-purchase or due diligence report is often beneficial before you make detailed plans for your site that won’t comply with arboricultural regulations in your area.
Please contact via email with your site address and I will promptly respond with a quote to suit the scope of investigation required.
Depending on your situation, an onsite meeting to give verbal advice for a particular problem may suffice. If you would like an in depth analysis of your tree and suggested management approaches, a full report may be desired or required.
